Standard 8-ballPot your group (solids or stripes, decided by the first legal pot after the break), then the 8. Potting the 8 early or with a foul loses the rack.
Fouls give ball in handHitting nothing, hitting the wrong ball first or potting the cue ball passes the table with ball in hand anywhere.
Shot clock45 seconds for the break, 30 for every shot after it. Running out passes the table with ball in hand; three in a row lose the rack. Best of 1, 3 or 5 racks, the break alternating.
