Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data cs2.casino collects, why, who it is shared with and what you can do about it. The controller of your data is the operator of cs2.casino. Questions or requests go to [email protected].

1. What we collect

Your account

  • Your Steam ID, Steam display name and avatar, if you sign in with Steam.
  • Your email address and when you verified it, if you add one or sign in by email.
  • Your Steam trade URL, if you add one for skin deposits.

Sign-in and security

  • Sessions: a random session ID, when it was created and last used, the IP address and the browser’s user agent. A session lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
  • One-time codes we email for sign-in and withdrawals. We store only a hash of each code, and codes expire after 15 minutes.
  • Records of actions our staff take on your account.

Play and money

  • Your bets: game, stake, payout, time, and the seeds and nonces that decided the result.
  • Your balance and every change to it, your rakeback and VIP progress, and items you own from cases.
  • Crypto deposits and withdrawals: the deposit addresses we give you, transaction IDs, amounts and the addresses you withdraw to.
  • Skin deposits: the items, their Steam asset IDs, the values we quoted and the state of each trade.

Other

  • Verification documents, if we ask you for them under our AML & KYC Policy: ID, proof of address, or proof of the source of your funds.
  • Messages you send to support.
  • Server logs: IP address, time, page or API call and user agent, kept for a short time to keep the site secure and fix problems.

2. Why we use it

  • To run your account and the games, and to credit deposits and pay withdrawals (performing our contract with you).
  • To keep the site secure and stop fraud, multi-accounting, bonus abuse and stolen items (our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its players).
  • To meet our legal duties, including age checks, anti-money-laundering rules and our licence conditions.
  • To send sign-in codes, withdrawal confirmations and important notices about your account. We send marketing only if you’ve agreed to it.

3. What other players can see

Your display name and avatar appear next to your bets in the live bets feed and on bet pages, which anyone can open. If you’d rather show up as anonymous, email [email protected].

4. Who we share it with

  • Valve (Steam), when you sign in with Steam and when skins are traded.
  • Our skin trading partner, which quotes and receives the items you deposit.
  • Our email delivery provider, to send you sign-in codes and confirmations.
  • Our hosting, database and network providers, including Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks.
  • Blockchain networks: crypto transactions are public by nature.
  • Professional advisers, our licensing authority, and the police or courts where the law requires it.

We don’t sell your personal data or share it for advertising. Some of these providers process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires.

5. Cookies

We only use the cookies the site needs to work: to keep you signed in, protect forms, and remember your language. There are no advertising or analytics trackers. See the Cookie Policy.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account, betting and transaction records: while your account is open and for at least five years after it closes, as anti-money-laundering rules require.
  • Sessions: until they expire or you sign out. Sign-in codes: until they expire.
  • Server logs: for a short period, unless we need them to investigate a security incident.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or get a copy in a portable format. Email [email protected] from the address on your account; we may need to confirm it’s you, and we reply within one month. We can’t delete records the law requires us to keep, but we stop using them for anything else. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

All traffic to cs2.casino is encrypted, one-time codes are stored hashed, and staff tools sit behind an extra access check. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your Steam account and email safe too.

9. Children

cs2.casino is for adults only. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and close accounts we find belong to minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. We’ll tell you on the site or by email about material changes.
